The Fights
Something that people expect to see in hockey is a fight. Fighting can cause a player to get suspension(s), penalty, and facing serious consequences. The Boston Bruins are known for wanting to fight. Players such as Adam McQuaid (#54), Milan Lucic (#17), Shawn Thorton (#22), and Brad Marchand (#63) are known for throwing some mean hits. When one of them are in a fight you should know that it's not going to be a pretty sight. But at 6'9" the "friendly giant" isn't so friendly on the ice, Bruins captain Zdeno Chara (#33) reach makes him an unstoppable force in ice fights, though he avoids fighting Chara defines intimidation.
Stanley Cup
June 15, 2011 was the day the Boston Bruins made history in Boston, Massachusetts. The NHL team won the NHL Stanley Cup Trophy, the team hasn't won a Stanley cup championship since 1972. With a 4-0 Win against the Vancouver Canuck the team had become one of the most respected teams in the league due to their goalie Tim Thomas (#30) incredible saves, and the team as a whole played like they had never played before. I'm not saying that as a fan, I'm speaking for hockey fans. From starting a decent season the Boston Bruins managed to climb all the way to the top and winning the trophy that they very much deserved. This video shows the last 7 seconds of the game to the most memorable moments to Boston Bruins fans.
