Boston Bruins have many memorable and talked about moments, but certain moments are just worth always talking about, such as Bobby Orr's #4 famous "soaring" goal in 1972 during the Stanley Cup playoffs. Youngest player Tyler Seguin #19 scoring the first goal for the Bruins in the Stanley Cup playoffs in 2011. Nathan Horthan #18 pouring some of the famous "dirty water" of Boston in the Vancouver Canucks rink for good luck before game 7 of the playoffs in 2011. Lastly, actually being able to experience the B's winning the Stanley Cup in 2011.

Talked About Moments
Bruins Legends. Bobby Orr
The Boston Bruins may have had one of the most powerful and legendary roster of all time. From players such as Rockabye Ray Gariepy, Perk Galbraith, Art Chapman, and Jack McGill all made history with their reputation of being physical fighters, strong players on the ice. Players such as Art Jackson, Gordie Bruce, Dallas Smith, Don Cherry, Jack Portland, and Jim O'Neill all made the contribution of dedicating their lives to the team they loved. Then we have Red Beattie, Bob Armstrong, Bert McInenly, Peter McNab, Ricky Middleton, Sailor Herberts, and Woody Dumart who were known for their physical fights and outstanding speed, and incredible stick handling. Legends such as Smokey Harris, Dmitri Kvartalnov, Randy Burridge, Gerry Outellete, Dave Silk, Don Gallinger, and George Carroll were all famous for their game winning goals with moments left in a game, they are also known for "puck hogging". Last we have players like Mike Moffat, John Blue, Phil Esposito, Terry O'Reilly, and Ted Green who got nicknames after their powerful shots, tremendous amount of strength to hurt someone, and their drive to be the fastest one on the team. All of those players made history to not only for the Boston Bruins but the NHL.
The year of 1970 the B's were filled with memorable moments, legendary players, and feelings that could never be forgotten. One player really made a difference in the Boston Bruins Generation and the NHL that year. Boston Bruins #4 was taken by player Bobby Orr who is still the second greatest player in the NHL history, Wayne Gretzky remains at first. Though Bobby Orr won the Stanley Cup for the Bruins in 1972, Orr gave himself the reputation of all Boston Bruins legends combined. Bobby Orr is considered the perfect hockey player in the NHL. His end to end rush were unheard of, and his slick passes and playmaking made him unstoppable on the ice. Bobby scored the NHL most famous playoff goal in hockey history with just 40 seconds left in an Over Time tied series game against the St. Louis Blues. Fans called him "Soaring Orr" after the winning goal because no player had ever scored while "soaring". For a defensemen, Bobby Orr remains lead scorer, and left people speechless when he finished his career with a total of 270 goals and 915 points in 675 games because for a defensemen those numbers are unreal.

Magic Words
As a child your parents teach you about the "magic words" which are "please" and "thank you". In hockey "magic words" have a completely different meaning. Hockey fans only want to hear "he shoots, he scores" and "SAVED!". The feeling of hearing those words are sensational, especially when you're team wins.
Brutal Loss
On April 25, 2012 the Boston Bruins played their last game of the Stanley Cup playoffs. With a tied 3-3 series with the Washington Capitals, game 7 proved that the Capitals were in it to win it. Though the game was intense and nerve-wracking, bits and parts of it were predictable. When the game tied 1-1 during the second period, it was obvious that the game was about to get serious. Burins goalie Tim Thomas who was MVP last season did play his best, but it was obvious that the Capitals were coming off too strong. Capitals goalie Braden Holtby impressed not only Boston fans but his own team as well, his saves were incredible. Holtby, only 22 years of age out-did himself. Even though it's sad to say good bye to the playoffs, Boston Bruins coach Claude Julien is ready for the next season with stronger and powerful tactics. They played a phenomenal season, and I'm sure that we're all ready to see what next season has in store to the Bears.

Bruins Fan-base
The Boston Bruins have a very large fan base especially in Boston. They have dedicated fans from all ages and race. From bad times to great times Boston Bruins fans are proud of their team no matter what. Boston fans are known for their riots and when their team wins, especially their Boston Bruins, you best believe that the riot is not only going to be hectic one but it'll be an experience of a life time. Winning the Stanley Cup in 2011 Bruins fans went wild, the riot lasted over 24 hours, and then set off again the day of the Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Championship Parade. The fans take the sport of hockey seriously and take their team even more seriously. Without a doubt, Boston Bruins are more than thankful to have dedicated fans like the ones that they have.

Blades and The Bear
Meet Blades, the official Boston Bruins mascot. He always seems to make people of all ages want more. Blades defines what a bear really is, feared, feisty, ferocious, and focused on the ice, of course. Off the ice he's the complete opposite. The bear is just a logo. The difference between blades and "the bear" is that the bear is out to get people at unexpected moments and mess around, while blades is in it for smile and excitement. The bear and Blades are a well fit for the Boston Bruins.
