Brutal Loss
On April 25, 2012 the Boston Bruins played their last game of the Stanley Cup playoffs. With a tied 3-3 series with the Washington Capitals, game 7 proved that the Capitals were in it to win it. Though the game was intense and nerve-wracking, bits and parts of it were predictable. When the game tied 1-1 during the second period, it was obvious that the game was about to get serious. Burins goalie Tim Thomas who was MVP last season did play his best, but it was obvious that the Capitals were coming off too strong. Capitals goalie Braden Holtby impressed not only Boston fans but his own team as well, his saves were incredible. Holtby, only 22 years of age out-did himself. Even though it's sad to say good bye to the playoffs, Boston Bruins coach Claude Julien is ready for the next season with stronger and powerful tactics. They played a phenomenal season, and I'm sure that we're all ready to see what next season has in store to the Bears.
